I have a feeling he'll stick around and contribute one good key hit during the year... but most of the time he will come up as a pinch hitter and we'll be saying "WTF... why did Lou send him in"

Why is it that whenever we acquire someone that we as cub fans hate that they end up suckings. Sure Edmonds hasn't played a game yet... but this reeks of Jeff Blauser to me.

I like the idea of calling it Cubs Park as well. I can guarantee tho that if they ever did change the name that it probably would be called Wrigley for years by fans before they even think of it.

Hell... I still think of Comiskey when I think of U.S. Cellular. However if it wasn't for the branding I am sure I would never even know what US Cellular is.

Yea I agree with you on the Cards. It seems every year people say they will suck and that their pitching is horrible. Yet they continue to prove us idiots wrong.

I saw an article on this at Chicago Sports as well. I was amazed that the Giants are the team with the most wins. I would have assumed the Yankees.

So it seems we're back track after a few games with the Pirates. Thats always the best remedy to a slow start or a loosing streak. :)

It seems like the Cubs are having issues keeping a lead. I hope this isn't going to become a trend like it seems it is every year. I'm still feeling pretty confident with our bullpen of Wood & Marmol but I can't help but get anxious even this early.

Then again this one can be pointed to be all Lilly's fault so maybe I should just breathe. :)

What is amazing is that when the stadium is sold out they probably sell this seat. I would be SOOOO pissed if I got it.
