Topic: Who's our 4 and 5 starter?

Our starting pitching isn't that great but someone needs to be a number 5. Who will it be? For sure we have Zambrano, Lilly, Hill. With how much we pay Marquis, he'll have to be in the mix too. That leaves us with Jon Lieber, Ryan Dempster, Sean Gallagher and maybe Hart. Honestly I think all these options suck but I'd go with Lieber until he gets injured. Marquis and Lieber will at least give you 5 innings. What those 5 innings will be who knows, maybe our offense can be a little more productive and hit.

I don't know what to think of Marquis. That guy is a human yo-yo. You never know what's going to happen, even from inning to inning.
I'm still unsure of the Lieber signing. Who knows? He may help us out.

Yea there are still a ton of question marks with our starting rotation. It was amazing how Marquis resembled a pitcher in the first half of the season. Then he reverted to his St. Louis self.

So you guys don't think that Dempster will do that well? I have a feeling he might be solid in the rotation.
