So with free agency and trading activity hopefully coming soon I thought to start a thread on the Cubs new acquisitions.
With that their first signing is picking up the option for the great Daryle Ward.

Ward hit .327 in 2007. Of course the at bats were limited but not bad when you're only paying the guy 1 mil. A good guy to have on the bench.
What's good is we didn't pick up Trachsel and as great of a guy Floyd is, he wasn't that helpful in a pinch hitters roll.
