We didn't give up much for this dude but really who cares. We've done alright with starting pitching. What we need is for Lee and Ramirez to wake up and hit. We don't score. Sometimes getting runs is nice. It helps in beating the other team.
Plus this guy is boring. I was pleased though with his performance in that playoff game against the Giants in 98. That was the same year he gave up home run 60 or 61? Whichever way it was looking to be a bad year but he pulled through with a great need to win game. We could use a big time pitcher like that since Zambrano isn't one of them.

Derek Lee and Aramis Ramirez have stepped it up the last two game Lee won the game for us today with that 2 run home run. Yesterday they both homered. I think they are going to do well for us in September. Steve Trachsel on the other hand, I think that guy is done. We had him in his prime and he wasnt ever awesome. He has a start in a couple of games or so hopefully he can help us out and give us a couple of wins but i was very surprised when I heard the Cubs got Steve Trachsel back.

It's funny cause I read that he went through wires and was like, hmmm maybe the Cubs will get him. I don't really care, the guy is boring and just as good as what we have in our starting five. Maybe he has some postseason clout or just veteran experience, we'll find out soon enough cause he's pitching Tuesday night.

I thought this guy retired... wow. Well he got us a nice loss today.
