I'm still in shock about this as well.  I didn't think that Zambrano would be signed with the ownership of the team in flux.  Good for him though.  He was by far the best potential free agent.  He probably could have gotten more by another team, but I'm happy he stuck with the Cubs

Yea it is interesting that he signed considering there is no owner set for next year.  Even funnier since his last two outings have blown big time ginger balls.

He will be the highest paid pitcher per year.  Deservedly so considering how much Zito got last year.
