Do you think if the Cubs win the WS that there will be as many fair weather fans as when the White Sox won?

I think it would be ridiculous if the Cubs won the world series as far as fair weather fans. There'd be no comparing how many fair weather fans would show up if the Cubs won.

I think it would be nationwide. Just look at when the Red Sox... it was fair weather fandom... hell I even jumped in and rooted for them to make it happen.

It would be huge. Not only do the Cubs have a huge national presence, but also any chance to break the 'curse' will have the whole world watching in anticipation of victory. I feel a lot of people will want to see the Cubs finally get over the hump and become champions.
