Topic: Cubs Vs. Pirates

Beating up on teams you should be. I love it.

Let's see what they do to the Pirates.  The cubs have always had a problem beating the weak teams in their division.

I can't believe how badly they play against this team. The Pirates have no one!  Except for the reigning batting title champ.

God to see the Cubs win the second game of this series.  Ted Lilly pitched strong and gave the bulpen a break which is good considering yesterdays matchup.  It's also nice to see Soriano, Ramirez and Lee hitting so well.  I hope they don't all cool down at the same time.  One more win and this would be a great away stand.

I was quite dissapointed in this series... they only won 1/3... they really had a chance to go into the all star break on an unbelievable roll.  Oh well...  Hopefully the time off will let them get their shit together and continue playing good.

Yea maybe it's just the Cubs inability to beat the Pirates and nothing more but they really sucked it up this series.  Let's hope it was a fluke and they continue their hot hitting and pitching once the break ends.
