Oh sweet Victory. The cubs did exactly what they should be doing, winning games that they should be winning. They now have a 2 game winning streak! Lilly had a solid performance and Soriano continues to hit. In my opinion a succesul road trip would be winning 5 out of 7.

What I loved about the 2003 Cubs especially in the playoffs was they scored runs in the first inning. Lofton would get on base, steal a base and then someone would drive him in just like that. Soriano did just that in second game of the Nationals series and I'm lovin it!

Yea its amazing how much more confident you as a fan feel when this happens. I can't imagine how much more it helps as a player... the reason that is because well... I sucked as a player. :)

The Cubs win the second game against the Nats and now have won 10 out of their last 11. Wow that's impressive. It's great to see how many games over .500 they are.
