About time. Seems like he has been pissing off the staff, doing poorly on defense, and he isn't quite as good as he was a few years back. What suprises me the most is that he isn't doing better considering its a contract year. Oh well... there goes any good payday.

Yea it's weird. I was a fan of him but when he's catching the pitching staff sucks. It only makes sense to get rid of this guy. Adding on you can pin point 2 seasons worth of downfalls by a Michael Barrett incident. 2004 with the Astros and 2006 with A.J. Who knows, this clubhouse fight can be the moment the cubs packed it in and called it a season. Only time will tell.
