There really shouldn't be a reason for me to hate the White Sox. The managment has made a lot of moves that shows fans they want to win. Ken Williams has done a lot of trades and most have been good for the team. Even the fans seem more my style than the Cub fans, but still I can't seem to like them. I blame it on Terry Bennington and Hawk Harrelson.
It puts a smile on my face that they're sucking it up this year. Nothing better when your team sucks and your rival team blows as well. Oh yea! What are your reasons for hating the white sox?

The reason I hate the Sox as do many Cubs fans is because simply put the Cubs got to me first. I can imagine that if the Sox were on every afternoon on WGN during my childhood that I might have gone their way... however they weren't, and once I was hooked in, it was all over. Then you would hear the older fans bitching etc and the whole mentality just grows on you.

A funny stat I was reading about the White Sox offense. Not one player on the Sox Team has a batting average higher than .265! Are you kidding me?!! I know we suck at throwing money around but you just gave Paul Konerko 12 mil and the guy is batting .238. The season is getting late Paulie. Worse part is I liked him before he came to the white sox. Same as Darren Ernstad. Then they put on that Sox and everything falls apart.

Thing is my first game I went to was at Sox stadium. Thing is they tried to win me over by giving free tickets for my attendance record in elementary school. They were forcing me to like them. Even as a kid I knew of their shady marketing and trying to lure fans in.

You also lost out since your older brother was already addicted to the Cubs as I'm sure some friends around you might have been. Plus how could you avoid the allure of Andre Dawson as a kid!?

Hooooweeee what a game. I'm on espn and look at the scoreboard for Minnesota v Chicago thinking it was a football game. 20-14 what a pounding. Garland had 12 ER. That can't help the ERA.

I thought the same thing. I took a double-take on the scoreboard and had to ensure it was in fact the mlb.
